"Study hard and have fun."

Hartfieldsunsch: "There's a variety ways to get assignments, and it's always been my observation that the informal network works quite well here at GM. Pretty much if I go and talk to my boss and tell him what I want to do, he'll make sure that that happens. You know I might not have complete control and make it happen tomorrow, but usually most people will listen to what you would like to do for your career path. And you can tell them and pretty much do it."
