"I had the opportunity of doing a summer internship or actually two summer internships at a Wall Street firm and I think that was the first time I saw that mathematics could be applied also to, to finance and, and basically to the sort of Wall Street industry. And, and it was really an area I had not seen before as an areas of mathematics applications. So well, first of all, it was very interesting to me and also I saw that it drew upon several courses I had been taking and so at that point, I said well, I should try to try to learn a bit more about that."
