Bill Johansen has worked in the field of Human Resource Management for the past eighteen years. For the past ten years he has been employed by the Cleveland Clinic health system in Cleveland, Ohio where he currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for Fairview Hospital, a 478 bed community hospital. Prior to Fairview, Bill was the Director of Human Resources for the Cleveland Clinic's Home Health and Hospice division along with their Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation. In addition to his healthcare experience, Bill spent ten years in the hotel industry with both The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Marriott Hotels in various HR roles including Assistant Director, Training & Development Manager and Director. Bill was part of the team when The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company won the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 1992.

Bill received his Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in 1985 and is an active member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). His areas of professional interest are talent management, employee relations and organizational development. Bill is active in the community and spends time in the schools conducting various workshops including networking, interviewing and resume building.
