The Director of Guidance for the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District since 2004, Ruth earned an M.Ed. from Bridgewater State College. She is a licensed school counselor certified by the Massachusetts Department of Education. In addition to her work in public secondary education, Ruth has fifteen years of experience in higher education. She held the positions of Director of Admissions and Director of Continuing Education for Bay State College in Boston.

Ruth is an active member of the American School Counselors Association, Massachusetts School Counselors Association, South Shore Guidance Association, and the New England Association for College Admissions Counseling.
